Pharmacological information of sulfamethysol

The antibiotic sulfamethysol belongs to the sulfonamide family, which is used to treat urinary tract infections. Sulfamethysol prevents the spread of infection by preventing the growth of bacteria. However, other antibiotics, such as doxycycline and azithromycin, are considered first-line drugs.

The correct amount and method of taking sulfamethysol

Read the package leaflet carefully before starting treatment with the sulfamethysol antibiotic. This brochure will help you to get medication information about the drug and to be aware of its possible side effects.

To improve the effect of the antibiotic sulfamethizole, take the medicine every day, at certain times of the day.

Stop taking the medicine as long as it is prescribed for you. Early discontinuation of the drug may lead to recurrence of the infection.
